So, what if they all played together in a band?

Matt Beck (Matchbox 20, Rob Thomas). Nick Buda (Taylor Swift, Jewel). John Rhino Edwards (Status Quo). Guthrie Trapp (Phish, Ashley Monroe). To create such a sound at least once in a lifetime the producer Robert Papst called the giants of the business. And they all enthusiastically delivered their part – not only for the theme song KILL ME TODAY, TOMORROW I’M SICK. Recorded in New York, Nashville, Munich and London. Including the lead vocals of Janina Dietz who made it to number 32 of the German Radio Charts with her band JATD and the song “By your side;” Gracia Satler; Christian Bina Birawsky; Hardy Hartmeier as well as Jörg Sieber who climbed up to number 4 of the Media Control Charts with the band Dominoe and the song “Here I am.” And, of course: SPECIAL FRIEND. The original version by The Lurkers (1995).

Re-issued for the soundtrack: Special Gimmick at SPECIAL FRIEND: The vocals are also performed by actors such as Carlo Ljubek and Original-singer Arturo Bassick.

The film’s theme song.
